GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Applicability
- All transactions and agreements between Alma Trading VOF and the customer are exclusively governed by Dutch law. For distance purchases, the Distance Selling Act (Wet Koop op Afstand) applies.
- All statutory provisions remain in force, unless explicitly deviated from in these terms and conditions.
- These general terms and conditions apply to every agreement, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Articles that only apply to consumer purchases do not apply to business customers.
QUALITY AND CONFORMITY
Delivery as Agreed
4.1. Alma Trading VOF guarantees that the delivered products comply with what has been agreed. If the product does not possess the characteristics that the customer may reasonably expect, the customer is entitled to repair, replacement, or termination of the agreement.
4.2. If it was indicated in advance that a product has defects (for example, outlet or B-choice products), the warranty of article 4.1 does not apply.
4.3. Returning outlet products is only possible if this has been agreed in writing in advance and clearly stated on the invoice, quotation, or in email correspondence.
WARRANTY CONDITIONS
Manufacturer’s Warranty and Exceptions
5.1. For products with a manufacturer’s warranty, the customer must submit complaints directly to the manufacturer or importer. Alma Trading VOF can mediate upon request.
5.2. Products without a manufacturer’s warranty are sold as-is (“as seen”) and are not covered by any form of warranty or service. This is always stated on the invoice. For a different warranty period of less than 24 months, this is also recorded in writing. Statutory warranty remains applicable for essential components, unless there is user error, incorrect installation, or negligence.
5.3. Refurbished appliances are supplied with a three-month warranty, unless a different period has been agreed in writing.
5.4. If a warranty claim is made and no defect is found, the following costs will be charged: €60,- call-out fee and €65,- per hour for labor (minimum 1 hour).
Installation and Use
5.5. Cooktops and stoves must be installed by a certified installer, with an invoice required as proof. Damage due to incorrect installation is not covered by the warranty.
5.6. The customer must keep the original purchase invoice; without it, no warranty can be granted.
5.7. Alma Trading VOF is not liable for data loss on electronic devices.
RETENTION OF TITLE
6. Ownership of the products remains with Alma Trading VOF until the full purchase amount has been paid.
PAYMENT
Method of Payment
7. The customer must pay the full purchase amount upon delivery, either in cash or via bank transfer at the time of delivery. In-store payments can be made by debit card, cash, or direct transfer.
8. Payments are first applied to outstanding fees and interest, and then to the oldest unpaid invoices.

9. If delivery does not occur on time, the customer must notify Alma Trading VOF in writing, unless a strict deadline has been agreed.
10. Complaints must be submitted in writing and substantiated.
RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL AND RETURNS
Distance Purchase
11.1. For distance purchases, the customer has the right to withdraw from the agreement within 14 days. The item must be returned complete, undamaged, and in its original packaging. In case of damage or use, a reduction in value may be charged. Return costs are always €55,- when Alma Trading VOF collects the product or if delivery is refused. If the customer requests collection after delivery, an additional €45,- collection fee applies.
11.2. Returning a product without defects (except for pre-notified defects) is possible only after written approval from Alma Trading VOF.
11.3. When exercising the right of withdrawal, the product – with all accessories and, if reasonably possible, in its original condition and packaging – must be returned to Alma Trading VOF.
11.4. If the product or packaging is more damaged than necessary to assess the product, Alma Trading VOF may charge for the reduction in value. The customer must handle the product carefully and pack it properly for return.
11.5. The product must be returned unused and in its original packaging, including all manuals, labels, and accessories. The customer may only examine the product as would be customary in a store. If Alma Trading VOF collects the product on behalf of the customer, costs are €55,- per address plus €45,- collection fee. If the product is returned in a different condition, the customer is liable for the reduction in value. Returns without the original invoice are not accepted, except in the case of unforeseen defects. In case of defects, a suitable solution (replacement or refund) will be arranged with the customer. Additional discounts are excluded.
11.6. The reduction in value of a product is determined based on:
- any usage or transport damage;
- damage to the packaging (not applicable to B-choice products);
- completeness of accessories and parts.
The maximum reduction in value is 30% of the purchase price. The customer has 14 days to report a return.
In-Store Returns
13. For purchases made in the physical store, the right of withdrawal does not apply. However, the customer retains the right to a properly functioning product and the associated warranty.
PRICES AND CONDITIONS
Pricing Policy
14.1. All prices include VAT and any delivery costs, unless otherwise stated.
14.2. Discounts are not applied; prices are fixed in the sales system.
FORCE MAJEURE
15. Force majeure includes, among other things, delivery problems, transport restrictions, strikes, weather conditions, or other circumstances beyond the control of Alma Trading VOF.
TRANSPORT AND DELIVERY
Own Transport
18.1. When the customer arranges transport themselves, Alma Trading VOF assumes no liability.
18.2. Damage caused by incorrect packaging or transport is entirely at the customer’s risk.
Transport by Alma Trading VOF
19.1. Delivery takes place to the front door. Placement inside the home is solely at the customer’s own risk. Products are not carried upstairs, unless a spacious elevator is available.
19.2. Any damage must be reported immediately upon delivery. After acceptance of the product, the right to compensation for damage expires.
19.3. Returns must be carefully packaged when delivered.
